1. Acceptance
By using Roleander Books ("the Platform"), you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
2. Service description
Interactive audiobook platform with an RPG system:
- Narrated audiobooks (human / AI voice)
- Interactive choices (branching narrative)
- RPG system: characters, XP, crafting, guilds
- Multiplayer: cooperative sessions
- Twine import (interactive fiction)
- SSO with El Refugio Seguro (WordPress)
3. Account and registration
- Minimum age: 13 years (16 in EU without parental consent)
- One user = one account (do not share credentials)
- You are responsible for your account's security
- Notify us immediately of unauthorized use
4. Subscriptions and payments

- Billing: monthly/annual (Stripe)
- Automatic renewal unless cancelled
- Refunds: 14 days (EU) / as per applicable law
- Price changes: 30 days' notice
5. Intellectual property
- Ours: code, design, brand, own audiobooks
- Third parties: licensed audiobooks, GamiPress, Supabase, Vercel
- Yours: your characters, choices, progress, UGC
License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license for personal use.
6. Permitted / prohibited use
✅ Allowed
- Personal, non-commercial use
- Create characters, progress, share achievements
- Invite friends (referral)
❌ Prohibited
- Reverse engineering, scraping, bots
- Sharing accounts, reselling access
- Illegal content, hate, spam, malware
- Circumventing limits (ads, paywalls, rate limits)
7. User content (UGC)
- You keep ownership of your characters, writings, recordings
- You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to operate the Platform
- We may moderate/remove content that violates these Terms
- We are not responsible for third-party UGC
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend/terminate your account for:
- Serious/repeated violation of the Terms
- Fraud, abuse, non-payment
- Inactivity > 2 years (with prior notice)
Effect: loss of access, data per retention policy
9. Warranties and limitation of liability
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available".
We do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted / error-free availability
- Correction of all defects
- Compatibility with all devices
Maximum liability: amount paid in the last 12 months (or €100 if free)
10. Indie / Third-party audiobooks
Audiobooks from external creators are the responsibility of their authors. We only provide the platform.
11. Applicable law and jurisdiction
Spanish law. Courts of Madrid (or your domicile if a consumer in the EU).
12. Changes
We will notify 30 days in advance. Continued use = acceptance.
